The Pet Spot
Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered to attend daycare?
We require all dogs over six months of age to be spayed or neutered before attending our daycare services.Does my dog need to be socialized to attend daycare and boarding?
Since all our guests participate in daycare activities, it's essential that your dog is well-socialized with both humans and other dogs. They should enjoy interacting with others and must not show any signs of aggression towards people or other animals.Do you need to meet my dog before they attend daycare or boarding?
Prior to accepting any dog for our services, we require them to undergo a meet and greet temperament assessment. This helps us determine if they're suitable candidates for our facility. Will my dog wear a collar during playgroup?
For safety reasons, we have a 'play naked' policy where dogs don't wear collars or harnesses during playtime. When dropping off your dog, please ensure they're wearing a well-fitting collar or harness with a standard leash attached. We don't allow retractable leashes in our lobby due to safety concerns. If you don't have a standard leash, please inform our staff before entering, and we can provide one for you to use.Do I have to bring my dog in to meet you before boarding?
Yes, we require all potential boarding guests to participate in at least one day of daycare before their overnight stay. This helps us ensure that our facility is a good match for your dog's needs and temperament. What do I need to bring for my dog to spend the night?
We recommend bringing your dog's regular food in a resealable container to avoid dietary changes that could cause gastrointestinal issues. Our staff will discuss feeding instructions upon arrival. We're equipped to handle special diets requiring refrigeration, freezing, or microwaving. You're welcome to bring your dog's regular treats as well. While we provide bowls and fleece blankets, we encourage you to bring your dog's bed from home and a few toys. Please note that rawhides and potential choking hazards are not permitted.Do I need a reservation?
Yes, reservations are required as we limit the number of dogs in our playgroups. We often reach capacity months in advance for holidays, so we advise booking as early as possible to secure your dog's spot. What is your cancellation policy?
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all boarding reservation cancellations. Failure to provide this notice may result in you being charged the full rate for your reservation. What are your boarding policies?
We're able to administer oral or topical medications and supplements to your pets. All medication must be in the original prescribed container with a legible prescription label. For food, please bring enough for your pet's entire stay, pre-portioned in individual containers or ziplock bags labeled with your pet's name and meal measurements. Canned food and meal toppers are accepted in their original containers but must be labeled with your pet's name.
